The 8th Smart City Expo World Congress, jointly organized by Smart City Forum and Smart City Working Committee of China Law Association on Science and Technology, was recently held in Beijing. The congress aims to promote concrete implementation of national smart city strategies and boost upgrading and development of cities. During the congress, awards including 2017 China Smart City Demonstration Scheme, Demonstration Cases, Outstanding Contributors, Demonstration Enterprises, Demonstration Cities and so on were granted. The “The Visualized Simulation Platform for Government Affairs” built by Xiamen GNSS was rated as “2017 Smart City Demonstration Case”. Xie Ming, director of Jimei District Government Information Center, the application unit of the platform, shared the case at the congress forum.

Xiamen GNSS built the Three-level Visualized Simulation Platform which is based on visualized simulation and supported by analysis and judgment to provide auxiliary decision-making support for units at all levels in the district”. And it presents 16 thematic modules including population, events, traffic, public safety, gas safety, administrative affairs, public security and police force in an intuitive manner. By virtue of abundant thematic data, the platform may provide timely, accurate and comprehensive information for department coordination, offer auxiliary decision-making basis for social resources allocation, judge whether government decisions are scientific and reasonable, assist departments in realizing dynamic deployment, accurate employment and scientific prevention, and improve efficiency of government work.

This award undoubtedly reveals that our company’s achievements on smart city construction were widely recognized.
